Pulwama: India's Jammu and Kashmir region is witnessing a crisis like rest of the world due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the resultant lockdown. But to help the poor people of the region at this time of crisis, a Kashmiri NGO distributed essential food items to them in different villages of Pulwama district on Friday.
Kashmakash, a group of young social activists, provided the essential items to 50 families in different villages in the district.

People in Naira, Tengpuna, Chatapora and Dangerpora villages benefitted from their support.
Musadiq Riyaz Bhat, one member who was part of the team, praised his associates which include Shahbaz Mushtaq, Fayaz Ahmad Sheikh & Adnan Rashid among others.

“Our team Kashmakash works for the welfare of people & we will always be ready to help the people of Valley especially in Pulwama," Musaddiq Reyaz told Kashmir Snaps.

He urged the people of Pulwama to donate for the cause.
One of the members, Shahbaz has been providing online classes to students of Classes 9th and 10th from the beginning of the lockdown, reported Kashmir Snaps.
