Kabul: At least eight people were killed in a bomb blast that targeted a meeting advocating for peace in central Logar province of Afghanistan on Thursday, media reports said.
Col. Fazl Khuda Ibrahimkhel, the spokesman for 203rd Thunder Military Corps told Pajhwok Afghan News that a number of youths were gathered in Khwaja Ismailkhel village of Charkh district demanding peace today noontime.
He said the deceased included a woman.
Several people have been reportedly injured in the incident.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
