Global Headlines US airstrike kills top Al-Qaeda leader in Afghanistan

Kabul: A top Al-Qaeda leader has been gunned down by US forces during one of its airstrikes in Afghanistan, reports said.
The incident took place on Apr 23 in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province and was confirmed on Tuesday by the United States of America.
The deceased has been identified as Hazrat Abbas, an al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) leader.
Abbas was also a Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) commander.
According to reports, his body guard also perished during the raid.
